Philip Bernard Klein, age 73 of the Upper Cove Road Community of Robbinsville passed away, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at his residence.

He was a native of Cooperstown, NY and the son of Doris Louise Earing Klein and the late Edward Klein. In addition to his Father he was preceded in death by his daughter Kim Klein and his brother Paul Klein.

Mr. Klein graduated from Andrew Draper High School in Schenevus, NY in 1959 and played basketball during his time there. After graduating High School he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country during the Vietnam War. After being discharged he moved to South Florida and became a Crane Operator. He has been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers since 1966. Mr. Klein also lived in Duluth, GA before his retirement in 2005 and permanently moved to Robbinsville. Since retiring Phillip enjoyed woodworking and reading and especially the annual Thanksgiving family reunions in Keystone Heights, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Bobbi) Ford Klein; son Paul Klein of Hollywood, FL; Daughter, Susan Klein Tyson of Hollywood, FL; Step Son, Ron Bova of West Palm Beach, FL; Step Daughter, Laurie Smith of Hendersonville; Grandsons, Conner and Caleb Tyson; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy Klein of West Palm Beach, FL, Tom and Lyn Klein of Brunswick, GA, Bobby and Kay Klein of Edmond, OK, Teddy and Nuri Klein of Grove, OK; and Sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ray Paddock of Keystone Heights, FL.

Arrangements for Memorial Services will be announced at a later date. Townson-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in his name. An online register is available at
