Tammy Louise Turpin Crisp
Tammy Louise Turpin Crisp of Milltown Road in Robbinsville danced through the Gates of Glory, escorted by the angels, Tuesday morning, June 20, 2017.
Tammy was 57 years old, being born February 21, 1960, the daughter of Max Turpin and wife, Ruby, and the late Charlotte Williams Colvard and Jimmy Colvard.
Besides her mother, Charlotte and stepfather, Jimmy, Tammy was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Thomas. Tammy is survived by her husband, Ronnie Crisp and their son, Travis Crisp and wife, Cassady. Tammy was the proud grandmother of Gabriel Davis of Robbinsville, Tyler Crisp, also of Robbinsville, and Jacob and Julie Perry of Andrews.
Mrs. Crisp leaves behind her siblings, Sue Frederick and husband, John of Ravenna, OH, Latisha Monroe and husband, Jerry, Richard Turpin and wife, Shawnda, Shawn Turpin and wife, Crystal, Steven Turpin and wife, Erica, Melinda Stiles and husband Ernie, Donna Griggs, Tina Sawyer and husband, Danny, and John Thomas, all of Robbinsville. There are two great grandchildren and many very special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who have all been blessed by her presence in their lives.
Tammy was a creative entrepreneur, working as a nail technician, sales, and real estate, but her greatest passion was Jesus and her love for others. Tammy and Ronnie are founding members of their church, Liberty Missionary Church, which she loved and served and brightened faithfully. Tammy loved well! She will leave behind a legacy of faith, hope, love and service for the glory of God’s kingdom.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, at Liberty Missionary Church, 300 Five Point Road, Robbinsville. The family received visitors beginning at 12 noon. The will be no graveside service.
