Resort, town arrange payment plan

Fontana Dam – A large monthly payment will keep Fontana Village Resort on track to become current with the Town of Fontana Dam by June. During the town’s monthly council meeting on Dec. 18, Mayor Rob Hardy discussed the resort’s plan to catch up on back payments.

Now that Robbinsville has claimed its 14th 1A state football championship, the Smoky Mountain Conference has released its All-Conference awards for the 2019 campaign. And almost everywhere you look, you see a representative from the Black Knights.

This Christmas Eve, children will leave one billion cookies for Santa.  Assuming that he restrains himself to the point of taking just one bite from each offering, Santa will still have to eat the equivalent of at least 300 million cookies as he travels the globe delivering presents.
