Bobby Keith Jordan, 85 of the Jutts Creek community in Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at his residence.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Mack Jordan and Vinnie Woody Jordan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James “Squeak” Jordan; and baby sister Dolly Jordan.
Bobby was a 50-year member of the Robbinsville Masonic Lodge No. 672.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Aline Flynn Jordan; son and his wife, Danny Keith and Angeline Jordan of Robbinsville, N.C.; daughters and their husbands, Vickie and Greg Burchfield of Robbinsville, N.C., and Sandra and Matt Haney of Cassatt, S.C.; brothers, Gar Jordan of Andrews, N.C., Darrell Jordan of Peachtree, N.C. and Terry Jordan of Robbinsville, N.C.; sisters, Edna Mae Farr of Robbinsville, N.C., Anna June Webb of Greenfield, Ind., Polly Stover of Marble, N.C., and Debbie Stewart, and Susan Stewart, both of Robbinsville, N.C.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Megan Jordan, Ellen Jordan, Elise Jordan, Kristi and Chris Griggs, Gregory Jr. and CJ Burchfield, Jordan and Peggy Haney, and Bradley and Lacey Haney, and six great-grandchildren: TenLee, Ty, Elliott, Ezra Grace, Hudson, and Bryson.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
The Revs. Dana Dockery and Wayne McGuire officiated.
Burial followed the service at the Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family received friends from noon – 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, prior to the service.
