Edith Fair Woody Hensley, 83 of Ellijay, Ga., gained her Heavenly reward Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Born July 6, 1939 in the Pisgah community of Ellijay, she was the youngest daughter of the late Joe Brown and Mollie Woody.

Melinda Carol Robinson Teesateskie, 52 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at her residence. Melinda was born Aug. 23, 1970, to the late David and Ruth Davis Robinson. She attended A.C.

Terry Mitchell Riddle, 73 of the Berts Creek Circle community, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at his residence. He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Conrad and EmoGene West Riddle.

Luca William Ruiz Mateo, infant son of Michelle Colvin and Joshua Mateo of Hayesville, N.C., passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2022. Luca was the best and most adorable baby Joshua and Michelle could have asked for and they cherished every second with him.

Daniel W. Rattler, 87, went to his Heavenly Home on Friday, Nov. 25, 2022. A native of Graham County, Daniel was born on April 22, 1935, to the late George Rattler and Hattie Cornsilk Smoker Rattler Smoker.

Betty Cooper Phillips

Betty Cooper Phillips, 89 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be her heavenly home on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at Life Care Center of Blount County, Tenn., after losing a lengthy, courageous battle with leukemia. She was the daughter of the late James Pate Cooper and Essie Collins Cooper.
