Wendell Waldroup, 91 of the Eller Branch community of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022, at his residence.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Posey and Mertie Phillips Waldroup. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rita Abbott.
He is survived by his son, Darrell Waldroup (Rhonda) of Robbinsville, N.C.; daughters, Candy Sefick (Paul) of Anniston, Ala., and Melissa Ammons (Mark) of Robbinsville, N.C.; brother, David Waldroup of West Virginia; and sisters, Delora Buchanan, Mary Blevins, Annetta Wilson, Donna K. Adams and Drucilla Parton, all of Robbinsville, N.C.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
At Wendell’s request, no services are planned.
