Terry Mitchell Riddle, 73 of the Berts Creek Circle community, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, at his residence.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of the late Conrad and EmoGene West Riddle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Riddle on April 27, 1986; and his brother, Douglas Riddle on Oct. 22, 2010.
Terry was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Vonda Hyde Riddle; daughters, Cheri Bailey and her husband, Raymond, and Jessica Cooper, all of Robbinsville, N.C.; son, Daniel Cooper of Robbinsville, N.C.; sisters, Jeanie Riddle of Alabama and Susan Hudson of Robbinsville, N.C.; brother, Brian Riddle of Robbinsville, N.C.; and five grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Bailey, Trinity Cooper, and Piston and Revin Kirkland.
Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Daniel Stewart officiated.
The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. at the chapel, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Townson-Smith Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
