   Daniel Garnet Roach, 73, of the Slay Bacon Road community of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Asheville, N.C.

   Alvin Eugene Messer Jr., 47, of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yong Wol.
