Alvin Eugene Messer Jr., 47, of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yong Wol.
He is survived by his children, Bradley Messer and Brailee Messer, both of Winder, Ga.; his father and stepmother, Alvin and Donna Messer of Robbinsville, N.C.; and his brother, Eric Messer of Alabaster, Ala; stepbrother, Kyger Hill; stepsister, Galena Hill, and his little sister, Yulie.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Rev. Daniel Stewart officiated. Burial followed at the Davis Cemetery. The family received friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel prior to the service. Townson-Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Messer family.
