Elizabeth Phillips Crisp, 99 of Robbinsville, N.C. passed away, Friday, June 11, 2021, at her residence.

She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Burt and Hattie Hill Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouses, Porter Carringer and Boyd Crisp. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Phillips and Darlene Phillips; brothers, Vick Phillips, Cal Phillips, Bill Phillips, Wallace Phillips, Dave Boyd Phillips, John Phillips, Harold Phillips, Gerald Phillips and Joe B. Phillips.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Tony and Kathleen Carringer of Hogansville, Ga., Mitchell and Dianne Crisp of Greenville, S.C., and Tammy and Mike Orr of Robbinsville, N.C.; six grandchildren, Paula Crawford (Alvin), Pam Eghbali (Oliver), Teressa Frank (Bryan), Katie Howard (Blake), Christy Silvers (Eugene) and Weston Orr (Ashley); 12 great-grandchildren, Chris Crawford (Savanna), Zach Crawford (Robin), Nick and Noah Abbadangelo, Kendyl, and Porter Frank, Everly, Hollyn and Marlowe Howard, Ashlyn Rogers (James), Kaylee Orr (Dawson) and Kerwin Orr; and three great-great grandchildren, Penny Rose Crawford, Cayden Rogers and Oaklyn Orr.

Funeral Services were held at noon Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Townson-Smith Chapel. The Rev. Roger Orr officiated. 

Burial followed the service at the Old Mother Cemetery. Pallbearers were Weston Orr, Kerwin Orr, Eugene Silvers, James Rogers, Dawson Orr, Alvin Crawford, Chris Crawford, Porter Frank, Blake Howard and Calvin Gladden.    

The family received friends from 11 a.m. – noon Monday at the chapel, prior to the service.

Townson-Smith Funeral Home was honored to serve the Crisp family.
