Joel Harvey Crisp, 24 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his residence.
He was a native of Graham County, and the son of Tony and Donna Carver Crisp, and the grandson of Lorna Carver Sellers. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey Carver, Leonard Crisp and Mona Wingate.
In addition to his parents and grandmother, he is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Jason and Kelcye Crisp, and Josh Crisp, all of Robbinsville, N.C.; adoptive grandparents, William and Marlene Artrip; adopted sisters, Isabell Batts and Lindsey Batts; adopted brother, Anthony Lyons all of Robbinsville, N.C.; and his nieces and nephews, Chloe Phillips, Blake Powers, Paxton Waters, Jayce Crisp, Jazmin Crisp, Jaydin Crisp and Creed Crisp.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Lance Burke and Dana Dockery officiated.
Burial followed the service at Lone Oak Cemetery.
The family received friends from noon – 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, prior to the service.
