June Farley Jenkins, 87 of Robbinsville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Robbinsville, N.C.
She was a native of Graham County, and the daughter of the late, Wilson Riley Farley and Dora Williams Farley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garl Jenkins, in February of 1977; her daughter, Debbie Black; great-grandson, Ayden Black; son-in-law, Jack McCray; brothers, Arthur Farley, Wendell “Sarge” Farley, James Farley and Billy Farley; sisters, Ollie Lee Lynn, Ailene Davis, Elwanda Manning and Evelyn Farley.
She is survived by her son, Billy Jenkins (Anita) of Bryson City, N.C.; daughters, Connie McCray and Angie Ball (Mike) both of Robbinsville, N.C.; brothers, Oliver Farley and Michael “Eddie” Farley, both of Robbinsville, N.C.; sisters, Margaret Moquin of Hoffman, N.C., and Lela Norton of Robbinsville, N.C.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Seth Jenkins will officiate and eulogy will be given by her grandson, Issac Lewis.
Burial will follow the service at the Old Mother Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon – 1 p.m. at the chapel, prior to the service.
