Marvin Kenneth Jones, Sr., passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022.
Though his passing was sudden and unexpected, it was extremely peaceful.
He was the beloved husband of Helen Plemmons Jones Thompson; father of Marvin Kenneth Jones, Jr., Audrey Jones Justice and Myrna Jones Baker; grandfather to eight; great-grandfather to six; and cherished friend to a multitude of people across the country.
A gathering of family to honor Marvin was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. A larger memorial and celebration of life for Marvin is planned for late spring or early summer 2023.
