Mary Anne Massey (Trello), 87 of Robbinsville N.C., passed away Monday July 4, 2022.
She was born on May 2, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Patsy and Emelia (Vallera) Trello.
Mary was a mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and was loved by all.
She will be dearly missed by her loving children: Michael, Mark (Nicole), David, Jeff and Lisa (Brack) Massey; sister, Lily Ricci; brother, Ernie Trello; grandchildren: Makenna, Daniel, Christopher (Ashton), Rick (Savanna) and Tyler (Heather); great-grandchildren: Harper, Emmie, Lincoln, Silas, Nora and Reese; brother and sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Massey; plus four loving brothers and one sister.
The family would like to thank her surgeons, Nicholas Robinson and Rashid Janjua; and all the family and friends for the love and care given to Mary.
A memorial service for Mary was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2022, at New Hope Baptist Church in Robbinsville.
Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva was in charge of all arrangements.
