Mary Edna Queen Sipe, 90 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late John and Lillie Farr Queen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Sipe; daughters, Sharon Haas and Kathy Ihrie; brothers, Posey Queen, Vincent Queen, Joe Queen and Tommy Queen; and sisters, Mae Holloway and Maudie Pendergrass.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Tim and Linda Beard of Claremont, N.C.; sister, Frances Phillips of Robbinsville, N.C.; brother, Daniel Queen of Robbinsville, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at noon Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Patrick O’Dell and Jason Holloway officiated.
The family received friends from 11 a.m. – noon at the Townson-Smith Chapel, prior to the graveside.
