Mrs. Peggy Ann Farrow, 72 of Robbinsville, N.C., passed away, Monday, June 28, 2021.

She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her, especially by everyone that knew her by “Nanny Peggy.” She took great joy in being Nanny Peggy.

Mrs. Farrow was born in Robbinsville, N.C., and the daughter of the late, Quentin Phillips, and the late, Emma Lee Shepard Phillips.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Farrow was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Robert Farrow; her two grandsons, Jonathan Morgan and Brandon Kirkland; her sister, Wanda Adkins; her two nephews, Randy Adkins and Scott Adkins; and great-niece, Tiffany Adkins.

Mrs. Farrow is survived by her sons, Roger Farrow (Tracy) and Ron Farrow (Tina); her siblings, Pam Rogers (Dale) and Tony Phillips (Betty); her beloved granddaughters, Amanda Parsons (Justin) and April Morefield (Cody); great-grandsons, Peyton Kirkland and SC Morgan; great-granddaughter, Emory Morgan; and many special nieces and nephews that lovingly knew her as Nanny Peggy.

Nanny Peggy enjoyed big, family get-togethers and playing cards with the family. The entire family could always count on Nanny and Pops for love and support, whether it was caring for a sick family member or making sure everyone got a Christmas gift. They brought great joy to everyone that was fortunate enough to know them.

A special thanks to Linda Buchanan, her best friend, who has always been there.
