Tallassee, Tenn. – Brookfield Renewable announced a warning to drivers in the Blount County, Tenn. region Tuesday, to expect possible delays on U.S. Hwy. 129 near the Calderwood Overlook in the coming weeks, as Brookfield undertakes a project to upgrade the communication lines that will involve equipment transport.
The project is scheduled to begin Friday, with an estimated duration of three weeks. The public impact will be potential-periodic road delays while equipment is being transported and installed at the project area. Brookfield Renewable is making every effort to ensure there is as minimal of an impact as possible to morning commutes, etc.
The work is taking place for the company to complete necessary upgrades to the communication lines. The project is necessary to improve communications between the Brookfield Renewable sites.
