Robbinsville – “May the 7th is a big day for the Town of Robbinsville.”
That profound statement came from Robbinsville Tourism Authority board member Debbie Beasley, at the Dec. 28 meeting.
It was decided at the meeting that the already-announced Taylor Hicks concert – which will see the former American Idol contest perform at Modeal Walsh Memorial Stadium – would share the day with the annual car show.
From noon – 4 p.m. May 7, citizens can enjoy the car show and then later in the evening they will attend the concert. At this time, 1,000 tickets are set to be sold online, while 500 will be sold in person.
Also at the meeting, Seth Mullinax was introduced as the newest board member – filling the vacancy left by Becky Ward, who recently resigned.
