Local precinct officials were approved during a special-called meeting of the Graham County Board of Elections on Aug. 17.
Per N.C. G.S. 163-41, each official will only serve a two-year term, which expires in August 2023:
East Ward

One-stop voting for the 2021 municipal elections will begin Thursday, Oct. 14, and end Saturday, Oct. 30.
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 2.
The towns of Fontana Dam, Lake Santeetlah and Robbinsville will be voting on each respective municipality’s board, with the latter also voting for mayor and alcohol sales within the town’s limits.
