Robbinsville – The Robbinsville Tourism Authority held its monthly meeting Monday, discussing items such as Trunk or Treat, the Passport to Adventure, and Christmas events:
* Two Trunk or Treat events will take place Saturday, Oct. 30. The Robbinsville Tourism Authority will host one on Main Street from 3-5 p.m., with Robbinsville High School then holding the other from 6-8 p.m.
* The “Passport to Adventure” has received $2,500 in funding from the Great Smokies Health Foundation. The booklet will be available in March of 2022.
* The annual Christmas parade and Hometown Holiday events have been merged into one day: Saturday, Dec. 11. The Hometown Holiday event will last from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Robbinsville High School, before the parade gets underway at 6 p.m. and will feature the theme “Holiday Movies.”
The board also approved $1,500 for the Graham County Garden Club to purchase flowers, which will set along both Rodney Orr Bypass and the downtown area.
