Lindell Hensley was found deceased following a Wednesday afternoon fire in the Bear Creek community.
Bear Creek – Authorities are still trying to determine what caused an RV to become engulfed in a midday fire Jan. 29 and claim the life of a local man.
The body of 71-year-old Lindell Howard Hensley was found inside the structure after firefighters with Graham County Fire and Rescue and the N.C. Forest Service extinguished the flames at 371 Anderson Creek Road.
The fire was first reported around 1:15 p.m.
Graham County Sheriff Brad Hoxit said Tuesday afternoon that the cause of the fire was still under investigation by both the local office, as well as the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Plans for a memorial service will be announced later, according to his obituary.
