Three full days removed from launching "Operation Dirty Laundry," the Graham County Sheriff's Office again combined forces with regional agencies Tuesday to conclude Phase 2 of the 11-month investigation.
The day-long efforts of authorities led to 35 individuals being arrested throughout the county, all in connection with the undercover operation that began in January. The sting targeted suspects allegedly involved in the manufacturing, selling or delivery of controlled substances (such as fentanyl and methamphetamine) in Graham County.
Throughout the effort, six more arrests were made thanks to outstanding warrants; six more individuals remained at-large Tuesday evening.
The Graham Star will have a detailed recap of Tuesday's proceedings in its Dec. 5 edition. Read more about Friday's successful execution of Phase 1 in the Star's Thanksgiving edition, which is available now.
