Hooper named Miss Lady Knight
Robbinsville – With a “Fairytale” theme lingering in the air, Gabby Hooper was named the 2020-21 Robbinsville High School Homecoming Queen during halftime of Friday’s football game against Erwin.
As reality sunk in, Hooper was overwhelmed with excitement.
“I’m super excited and happy to represent my class,” Hooper said moments after hearing her name announced.
A multi-sport athlete for the Lady Knights, Gabby is the daughter of Gabe and Crystal Hooper. Hooper is a member of Cedar Cliff Baptist Church and is active with the Robbinsville High School chapter of Health Occupations Students of America. She also volunteers her time with MANNA Food Bank and at Graham Healthcare & Rehabilitation.
She will be attending Brevard College on a softball scholarship after graduating from Robbinsville, where she will pursue a degree in either biology or health science, which she will use to begin her journey into medicine. Hooper’s career goal is to become a pediatric physician’s assistant.
