Methamphetamine seized during warrant
Cameras stolen from a Tallulah residence Oct. 10 were located within a matter of hours.
Graham County sheriff’s Deputy Courtney Heaton reported to a residence on Spring Hill Road, after a call came in about a trespasser on the property. Heaton was shown photographs of the trespasser from surveillance cameras positioned around the residence, as well as video of the cameras themselves being removed.
While scoping the area, Heaton noted the presence of three dogs at a nearby residence, which were seen with the suspect in the photos and video. The individual located – 29-year-old Robert Paul Taylor, who has a Spring Hill Road address – turned over the cameras.
He was later placed in custody and charged with one count of misdemeanor larceny and one count of second-degree trespass.
Taylor will appear in Graham County Court on Monday, Nov. 15.
