Snowbird – A local woman was arrested Jan. 20 on the misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
According to Graham County court documents, a 3-year-old child under the care of Chantilly Welch, 32, was allegedly found to have methamphetamine in its system after being tested by Quest Lab and the Graham County Department of Social Services. Welch was released from jail on the same day she was booked.
The alleged incident was discovered Oct. 6.
