Local woman charged with attempted uttering

Robbinsville – A Tallulah resident was arrested for attempting to pass off a counterfeit bill at a local fast food restaurant. 

According to court documents, 39-year-old Kimberly Dawn Blauvelt allegedly attempted to use a fake $100 bill at the Wendy’s restaurant, located on the Rodney Orr Bypass. The incident took place on Nov. 24, 2020. 

Blauvelt was arrested on Friday after turning herself in and released later that same day. 

She has been charged with the crime of attempted uttering, a felony.
