Tallulah – A Saturday dispute led to an arrest over an alleged stabbing.
Andrew Stephen Carringer, 35 of 113 Dillard Orr Road, was booked into the Graham County Jail and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, serious injury after allegedly stabbing his twin brother James Carringer at a residence on Hares Creek Road.
The Graham County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Andrew was arrested, while James was flown out for medical attention.
Andrew appeared in Graham County District Court on Monday, but the case was continued until Wednesday, Sept. 9.
