Stecoah – Volunteers at Stecoah Baptist Church will collect shoebox gifts for children living in poverty overseas this year, as part of the Samaritan’s Purse Project’s Operation Christmas Child.
Community members may drop off shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies and hygiene items at the Stecoah location beginning Monday, Nov. 18.
Stecoah Baptist Church is located at 8 Hyde Town Road. Drop-off hours are as follows:
* Monday and Tuesday: 6-8 p.m.
* Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
* Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m. – noon; 6-8 p.m.
* Saturday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
* Sunday: Noon – 2 p.m.
* Monday, Nov. 25: 10 a.m. – noon.
