David Scott Odom
Tallulah – A Canton man rode into lots of trouble following a Thanksgiving Day motorcycle chase.
David Scott “Bo” Odom, 51, led Graham County deputies and Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Police officers on a 7-mile chase while operating a 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Odom fled a license-checking officials had set up at the intersection of Bear Creek Junction and U.S. Hwy. 129, where he was being checked for compliance. Odom led the deputies and officers to the Riverbreeze Trailer Park off Five Points Road, where he was finally apprehended.
Odom was charged with felony fleeing to allude arrest and resisting a public officer. He also received a laundry list of traffic violations, including failure to produce license, failure to have a motorcycle license endorsement, improper passing, reckless driving, display of a fictitious registration plate, improper registration and failure to use turn signal.
He remains in custody at the Graham County Jail.
