Brian Heath Crisp
Santeetlah – The Graham County Sheriff’s Office recently took another step forward in its efforts to combat the local drug epidemic.
Around 10:45 p.m., Feb. 11, personnel from the office knocked on the door of a residence at 2901 Tapoco Road. Moments later, deputies swarmed the home – armed with a search warrant, which was sought and granted after a lengthy investigation by the office’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
Inside, deputies found a home filled with enough items that movement proved difficult; 10 total occupants; and what they came for, methamphetamine. Prescription medication was also recovered.
Of the 10 individuals on-site, only four were arrested and charged:
* Brian Heath Crisp, 42. Listed as the property owner, Crisp was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sale or deliver methamphetamine; maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance (a felony); and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received no bond, but has since been released from custody.
* Felisha Ann Anderson, 38 of a Lower Mountain Creek Road address. Anderson was charged with possession of methamphetamine; simple possession of schedule III controlled substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia. She also received no bond.
