Snowbird – The Graham County Rescue Squad, Graham County EMS, and the Graham County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a man down in the woods around 4:40 p.m. Monday.
The call stated that a man was down in the woods above Dick Branch Road. Responding units reached the man about 6:15 p.m. and found him deceased of apparent natural causes.
Rescue personnel removed the man’s body from the woods around 6:45 p.m., transporting the remains to Townson-Smith Funeral Home.
Officials confirmed Tuesday evening that the individual was Waynesville resident Wade Reese.
