Robbinsville – In the lone middle school hoops action of the week, Robbinsville hosted Hayesville on Nov. 25.
The Lady Knights improved to 3-1 by picking up a 46-36 victory, while the Knights (3-1) suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of a 54-32 Jackets triumph.
Zoie Shuler led Robbinsville’s girls with 16 points against the Lady Jackets. Also scoring was Claire Barlow 10, Noelle Orr 8, Abby Wehr 5, Liz Carpenter 5 and Aubrie Wachacha 2.
For the Black Knights, Xander Wachacha’s 15 points led the squad. Others to record points were Tytan Teesteskie 9, Bryce Adams 2, Quinn Jumper 2, Dane Knott 2 and Luke Lovin 2.
A scheduled home series against Hiwassee Dam/Ranger on Monday was postponed due to inclement weather.
A makeup date had not been announced by Wednesday’s press deadline.
