The Robbinsville wrestling teams split its duties Saturday, with one crew traveling to the Enka Duals and another taking part in the Osley B. Saunooke Tournament at Cherokee.
Robbinsville went 2-3 at the Enka Duals. The Black Knights knocked off Asheville 54-24 and McDowell 55-24, but dropped matches to the hosting Jets (48-27), Avery County (54-28) and Rutherfordton-Spindale (50-28).
Top performances at the individual Cherokee tournament included Micah Smith (106 pounds), Wade Hamilton (145), Phoenix Brooks (182) each taking third place in their respective brackets.
The Knights travel to Murphy today for a conference tri-match against both the Bulldogs and Hayesville, before making the trek to Rosman for another division dual Friday.
