Rosman – The countdown is on.

With 151 rushing yards during Friday's 54-0 win at Rosman, Robbinsville senior Rylee Anderson joined the 5,000-yard club, becoming just the third Black Knight in school history to achieve the feat.

Now at 5,025 yard total, Anderson only trails Travis McCracken (5,219) and Kurt Odom (5,602) in the school record books. He sat in fourth place before Friday's game, as Cruz Galaviz finished his Robbinsville career with 4,895.

The western North Carolina high school record is held by Brevard's Manny Deshauteurs, who recorded 6,632 from 1997-99. West Rowan's Kevin Parks set the state threshold with 10,895, posted between 2006-09.
