Hayesville – The public is invited to the Hinton Center (2330 Hinton Center Road, Hayesville), on Saturday, Jan. 17, for a Democratic Candidate Forum that welcomes candidates for U.S. House of Representatives, District 11. The forum will begin at 12:30 p.m.
Being co-hosted by Clay and Cherokee County parties, voters from Graham, Macon and Swain counties – as well as the Tri-County Democratic Women – are also invited to the event.
At the forum, Democratic candidates for the position will introduce themselves; share their priorities; and respond to questions in a panel discussion format.
This will be a great opportunity to meet the candidates in person, hear directly from them and learn where they stand on the issues that matter most to the district. The forum is especially important for Democratic and Unaffiliated voters planning to vote in the Democratic Primary on March 3, and will help make an informed choice in the election.
