The Return, a Beatles cover band, will perform twice at The Peacock in Hayesville over the weekend of Nov. 2.Come to the Peacock at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, or 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 and be transported back to 1962, when The Beatles took over the music scene.

The Return got its start back in 1995, when four young friends got together to play their favorite Beatles songs, just for the fun of it. It wasn’t long before they played in front of an audience at the request of a friend and as it turned out, were very well received. That show – which was supposed to be a one-time thing – led to another gig, which led to another and so on until the band found themselves playing on a regular basis.

The Return has performed a private concert at Abby Road Studios, London, headlined the 40th anniversary celebration of the Beatles’ visit to Tokyo in Japan, they were the official band of the Hard Rock Cafe’s 30th anniversary, touring the country in the original Beatles bus. They have shared the stage with Little Richard, The Monkees, Tommy James & The Shondells, The Grass Roots and many others.

Now they are coming to the Peacock to entertain us with all of our favorite Beatles’ tunes. Scream and shout, dance your heart out and rush down to the front of the stage, maybe you can shake Paul’s hand!  It will be an evening to remember.

Tickets may be purchased at the box office Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., via phone, 828-389-2787, by visiting Tiger’s Department Store on the Square in Hayesville or visit thepeacocknc.org.
