The Smoky Mountain Community Theatre's Fall Production is "Night of the Living Dead," based on the 1968 cult classic movie by George Romero.

This is where the zombie craze first began. Radiation from a satellite probe shot to Venus returns to Earth carrying a mysterious radiation that transforms the unburied dead into flesh-eating zombies. Seven people trapped in an isolated farmhouse, held hostage by the ravenous ghouls, begin to turn on each other as the dead close in.

Who will survive this dreadful ordeal?

The play is written by Lori Allen Ohm, and produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company.
