Robbinsville – From the opening tip, it was all Black Knights.
In a boys-only showcase against the Martins Creek Hornets on Monday, Robbinsville (8-4) finished the home slate of its season with a 67-7 victory.
The Knights made sure to spread the wealth, with Tillman Adams stepping out of the pack to lead the scoreline with 12 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Dane Knott, Eli Lambert and Benny Moose posted eight each.
Also scoring for Robbinsville were Owen Blevins, Tyler Patton and Kyzik Teesateskie with 6 each; Bam Nelms, 5; Kasen Buchanan with 4 apiece; and Javin Blair and Tristan Blevins with 2 each.
A road tilt at Murphy wrapped up the regular season Wednesday, before the conference tournament begins Saturday at Hiwassee Dam. Both the Black Knights and the Lady Knights (1-9) await their seeding, which took place after press time.
