Robbinsville – For a limited time, you can purchase a piece of Black Knights football history.
New head coach Lucas Ford announced Friday that helmets worn by members of the Robbinsville football program were available to buy. Only 35 will be sold; the cost is $100.
For an additional $25, past, present or future players will also sign the helmets.
Ford said that the money raised from the effort will go toward the purchase of new equipment, including helmets and away jerseys.
The helmets are from the last 12-15 years and have passed their 10-year lifespan.
Three signed helmets will also be raffled off during Aug. 22’s home opener against Tuscola.
