Tellico Plains, Tenn. – Head coach Brent Icenhower told The Graham Star that Robbinsville competed well in Tuesday’s season opener, but fell victim to fielding errors and kickstarted a rally too late in an 11-7 loss at Tellico Plains, Tenn.
Graylen Orr and Avery Webster had both a 2-hit game and doubles in the game, with the latter driving in two runs for Robbinsville.
In his varsity debut, Tytan Teesateskie also doubled and was afforded three RBIs for his successful connection.
Ethan Orr took the loss, but fanned six Bears over 5 ⅔ innings of work.
