Robbinsville – Simply put, the middle-school Black Knights shine on their home court.
Robbinsville (3-1) came to life after halftime Nov. 17’s tilt against Hayesville, dropping 31 across the final two quarters in a 45-27 stifling of the Jackets.
Leading the crowded scoreline was a 16-point evening from Cameron Allison. Xamuel Wachacha had eight, while Bam Nelms dropped six. Others scoring for Robbinsville were Easton Shuler 5, Elijah Kirkland 4, and both Landon Eddings and Eli Lambert with 3.
Lambert’s trey sank through the net at the final buzzer, drawing a thunderous ovation from the Knights’ faithful.
In the Nov. 17 opener, Robbinsville (3-2) slipped late and fell 29-26 to the Lady Jackets.
Chloe Adams’ 13-point afternoon led the Lady Knights’ offense. Also scoring was Novie Dutcher 6; Zayleigh Chekeleelee, Bella Coats and Cassidy Sudderth, with 2 each; and Zaelyn Phillips made a foul shot.

Bryson City – The Lady Knights righted the ship Monday, traveling to Swain County and handing the Lady Devils a convincing 38-16 loss.
Adams again led the offense with 11 points.
Also scoring for Robbinsville was Zayleigh Chekeleelee 7, Phillips 6, Zirryiah Wachacha 4, Aaliyah Wolf and Sudderth, with 3 each; and both Ella McGuire and Zachlan Chekeleelee, 2 each.
