Broadband company eyes Fort Hill tower location

Robbinsvile – A Bryson City-based internet service provider has begun the process of expanding into Graham County, asking for permission to build an antenna in the Fort Hill community. Adam Henson of Sky Wave Wireless Internet presented to the Graham County Board of Commissioners at its Nov.

$1.2 million bringing high-speed to county

A collaborative study by several county entities may finally pay off. Gov. Roy Cooper announced Sept. 4 that a $344,447 broadband grant had been awarded to Bryson City-based SkyWave, Inc. The company also services Graham County.
