Boyle out as EMS director

Fort Hill – Graham County commissioners have terminated the county’s emergency services director, but it was not immediately clear what led to the dismissal. County Manager Jason Marino said that Graham County Emergency Services Director Phillip Boyle was terminated on Friday.

EMS shifts now on 24/72 rotation

Robbinsville – Some much-needed rest is coming for Graham County EMS personnel. The county’s board of commissioners called a special meeting Monday morning to discuss a shift to a longer rotation for emergency personnel, who have been stretched thin due to staffing issues.

Fort Hill – Graham County has welcomed its new EMS Director, filling a crucial vacancy after an interim period lasting more than two weeks.  Phillip Boyle started as the county’s new EMS director Monday, after being hired on Oct. 6.

New county EMS director hired

At long last, Graham County EMS will officially welcome a new director. Following the resignation of longtime EMS Director Larry Hembree on Sept. 30, County Clerk Kim Crisp approved the hire of Phillip Boyle as the county’s new EMS director. Boyle is scheduled to begin his new job on Monday.
