Robbinsville – After much anticipation, the Robbinsville High School Class of 2020 can finally rest easy.
Graham County Schools announced Tuesday afternoon that a commencement ceremony is set to be held at Modeal Walsh Memorial (Big Oaks) Stadium on Saturday, July 18 at 10 a.m.
The rain date will be the following Saturday, July 25.
The announcement also included three possible scenarios for graduation, which will be decided based on the state restrictions that are in-place at the time of commencement.
Each scenario includes The Graham Star live-streaming the festivities on Facebook, but alter greatly elsewhere:
* Scenario One: A normal graduation ceremony, with student speakers and presentation of diplomas. Four guests will be allowed per student. Guests of each student must sit together, practicing social distancing. Each guest will have their temperature checked upon entering the stadium and masks are recommended.
* Scenario Two: A normal graduation ceremony, with student speakers and presentation of diplomas. No guests will be allowed in the stadium.
* Scenario Three: Graduation speeches will be pre-recorded and posted one hour before graduation. Students will enter the stadium and receive diplomas in groups of 25 (staggered entry). No guests are allowed in the stadium.

All senior debts need to be paid in the high school front office and the cafeteria by Tuesday, June 30, in order for students to participate in the commencement.
