Her Majesty, Queen Lovin

Robbinsville – There really was no way to pick from the field of 10 contestants. Each had a million-dollar smile, stunning dresses and unique entrances with their escort.

However, someone had to be decreed the 2019 Robbinsville High School homecoming queen. When the votes were tallied, Cambrie Lovin received the crown from last year’s winner, Jerri Anna Roper.

“This is very cool,” Lovin said. “I did not expect to win. I’m very excited.”

The daughter of Brandon and Haley Lovin, Cambrie is involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Graham County.

She is also a member of both the Lady Knights basketball and track teams.

Cambrie does not have a college picked out yet, but she plans on pursuing a degree in business. She also took the time to praise the court she was up against.

“So many beautiful girls,” Cambrie said. “They’re all so kind. It’s great being surrounded by those kind of girls all the time.”

Tayla Millsaps was named second runner-up, while Lanie Stewart received the first runner-up nod.
