Robbinsville – We want to thank all the residents and businesses who participated in REVVED UP Robbinsville’s first ever outdoor Christmas decoration contest.
Congratulations to to the winners of our Christmas Decoration contest:
* Best Business, $250: Bill Young, Phillips Historic Motel, 290 North Main Street
* Best Residence, $250: Mila Manejero, 50 North Main Street
Additionally, five runner-up prizes of $100 were awarded to:
* Pop & Nana’s Restaurant, 52 Rodney Orr Bypass
* Abraham Husmillo, Computer Resolutions, 88 Jordan Street

* Cody Law, 5 North Main Street

Congratulations to Kim Lequire for winning the REVVED UP Rifle Raffle. She took home a 22-magnum Henry “Golden Boy” lever-action long gun, just in time for Christmas
REVVED UP also invites everyone to check out the 12 Emerald Arborvitae street trees in planters and lights.
These trees were made possible by donations of $220 each from the following organizations and businesses:

REVVED UP will be adding more street trees as more donations come in from organizations, businesses and individuals who would like to help us beautify and revitalize Robbinsville. REVVED UP volunteers have made it possible to paint and decorate many of the telephone poles on Main Street and decorated a couple of the vacant buildings there. Additionally, candy canes now adorn the fence on East Main.
If you would like to help REVVED UP make Robbinsville a more beautiful, vital, vibrant and prosperous place to live, please attend the next meeting for the organization, which will be Thursday, Jan. 16, 10 a.m. at the Graham County Public Library.
