Fontana Dam – Tracy Williams’ second stint as a town council member has came to an end.
During the Feb. 15 Town of Fontana Dam council meeting, it was revealed that Williams had resigned from his seat, effective immediately. The decision was amicable, as Williams cited personal issues for the move.
“I had a good experience and learned a lot while on the council,” Williams said when reached for comment Monday. “It was just time for me to move on and concentrate on my business.”
Williams operates the popular barbecue stand T Dubb’s in Robbinsville. He served on the town council from 2013-14 and resumed the post for his second term in 2017.
Tiffany Duke was appointed to the board to fill Williams’ seat.
