Robbinsville – A broken tail light recently yielded a plethora of controlled substances.

According to a release from the Graham County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Andrews resident Brandy Lee Yackeren was observed by patrol members  leaving the River Breeze Trailer Park on Five Points Road with a broken rear tail light. Once the vehicle was pulled over, Yackeren appeared to be under the influence.

According to the police report, Yackeren admitted to having methamphetamine and marijuana in her purse and in a subsequent search, was found to be in possession of 3.78 grams of meth, 27 hydrocodone pills – a schedule II substance – and 13.56 grams of marijuana.

Yackeren later went before the magistrate, where she was given a $15,000 secure bond. She was also cited for the broken tail light, driving while license revoked, expired registration, possession of marijuana paraphernalia and possession of drug paraphernalia.
