House of Moves will perform a Friday night concert at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown at 7 p.m. on Oct. 18.

House of Moves is a collection of members from the Asheville based band, Moves. Featuring Dulci Ellenberger, Kevin Williams and Alyse Baca, the trio highlights intricate three-part harmony bedded with a warm and soulful groove. Dulci Ellenberger has been at the forefront of the Asheville music scene for the past decade playing in bands from Cowboy Judy, to Big Sound Harbor, Fwuit! and Moves (formerly Holy Ghost Tent Revival).

Williams has been a member of Moves for the past eight years, but is also a founding member of Fwuit!. He can also be seen making guest appearances in stage with Cowboy Judy as a pianist and bassist. Baca will be our honorary guest singer for the evening. She is a multi-talented woman who can most often be found as a recipe developer for Spice Walla in Asheville, but can also be seen singing on stage with all of House of Moves projects, and a variety of records.

The three come together to perform a beautiful night of warm soulful music.
