For teachers, youth, active military, veterans and locals, if you haven’t already taken advantage of the school's tuition-discount programs, you are encouraged to do so. Winter local discount expansion
Now until noon Jan. 15, the John C. Campbell Folk School is offering a 50% discount on tuition for local residents on a wide variety of classes that are being held from January-March. The winter discount applies to the following areas/counties:
* Georgia: Fannin, Gilmer, Rabun, Towns and Union counties;
* North Carolina: Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties;
* Tennessee: Polk.

Active military and veterans discount
In recognition of their service and sacrifice, the folk school is proud to offer a special discount for active military personnel and veterans. Effective March 5, 2024, active military and veterans will receive a 15% discount on tuition fees. This is the folk school's way of expressing gratitude for their dedication and bravery.
